Sacred Heart Schools contracted Stonesculpt to complete this painted sculpture restoration in 2012.

The entire surface of this sculpture was cleaned gently to remove stains, dirt, and carbon build up, as well as flaking and deteriorated paint. New, color matched paint was applied as needed over exposed plaster.

Some areas had more significant deterioration, breakage, and cracking. These areas were first patched and repaired before paint application.  Additionally, it was discovered that the base had been previously repainted a different color, so the original color was restored.
